About walk and talk therapy

​

Walk and talk therapy falls under the eco-psychotherapy, a combination of ‘ecology’ and ‘psychotherapy’ or ‘psychology’ umbrella. Walk and talk therapy has been found to facilitate positive improvements in many mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and stress. Where and when we are meeting:

On the day you book in for, we meet in the lobby on the ground floor at 4260 San Patricio, Vitacura. From here, I will direct you to my office where we will discuss the plan for the day, and open space for any last minute questions.​

 

About the walk:

​

The duration of the event is 2 hours. The walk itself can be estimated to be a grade two level walk. There is no bushwalking experience required. There are well made paths throughout the park with occasional gentle hill sections and some steps. The walk will not exceed 5km in distance. The group is limited to 7 people so that you can get close enough to hear the guiding questions and so there is space for everyone's voice to be heard.

 

What you'll need:

*sunsafe gear (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses etc)

*comfortable walking shoes

*water bottle (can be empty- you can fill up at the park)

Participation in the Bicentinario walks costs 10,000CLP.
